The Range Rover Velar is one of a kind. Inspired by a Latin word “Velar” which means veil or hide. Velar was the name put on Ranger Rover prototypes in the 1960’s and decades later the name pops ups. The car’s exterior design was done by the Italian Massimo Frascella. Range Rover Velar offers exclusive design details and high specification features including black contrast roof top and a sliding roof. The exterior body design is complemented by LED premium headlights with daytime running lights to make it look cool even in the middle of the day.
Driving at night or in poor visible areas is made easier with the assistance from Auto High Beam Assist (AHBA). AHBA automatically dips the high beam lights when approaching cars are detected, returning to flash mode when vehicles have passed. A beautiful car deserves awesome wheels, it rolls on incredible 22” 9 split- spoke wheels with diamond turned finish with Land Rover logo at centre.
The Range Rover Velar’s interior is finished to express a high-quality cabin, with Windsor leather in light ebony Alston headlining and copper fibre with copper wire finishers. The Velar’s interior includes heated seats for ultimate comfort even in cold days or climates. The sound system produces 1300W through 22 speakers and a dual channel subwoofer. You can also play table games on the display screen connected to your mobile phone. The display system is completely adjustable. It is equipped with double 10-inch high-resolution graphics touch screens to enable the driver to see all driver information without lifting a finger.
The new system has a video capability and can show what’s happening in the infotainment centre. This include your speed, route directions and Traffic Sign Recognition. The steering wheel is covered with heated leather for driver’s comfort when it is cold. Range Rover Velar is powered with 380HP, 3.0L supercharged engine which accelerates from 0-60mph in just 5.3 seconds. Velar’s weight is 4 500 pounds.
