Have we just found the perfect machine to create the lightest, fluffiest, meringues, batters, cake mix and whipped cream ever? Let’s find out…
The Masha is one of those kitchen items which you don’t always have on your necessary to get kitchen bucket list, but it’s one that often makes its way onto the would be really helpful to have list. It’s one of those items which makes your life a lot easier, like having an electric whisk, you can get the job done with a manual one, but it’ll take a lot longer and often would achieve the same results, so for making fresh mash potato, creamy guacamole or fluffy meringue, the Masha will be perfect for the job.
As we all know, Christmas is approaching fast, so the Masha could be the perfect gift for any home chef, it’s a quality item which even has the likes of Nigella Lawson, an English food writer and television cook, is a fan of, she even uses it in her creamy mash recipe. So you know you’ll be getting a fantastic addition to your cooking arsenal with the Masha.
I love the fact that on the front of the box it says ‘not just for potatoes, it’s so true, you look on the two sides of the box and you see what else the Masha will help you create, including Yorkshire Pudding, perfect for your Christmas dinner, Whipped Cream, Pancake/Cake Mix, Fluffly Meringue, Eggs, Chunky Soup and Delicious Houmous.
If you decide to purchase this Masha, it comes with a 5-year guarantee, which shows that they are really confident with their product and are dedicated on making sure you are happy with your purchase. It comes with the Masha itself, two different blades, the rotor blade for smooth blends, and the aerator blade for light and fluffy results, you also get the instruction booklet which tells you how to use it and how to clean it, but in addition, it also gives you some recipes as well.
It’s a strong/sturdy item, the plug is attached to the Masha and doesn’t separate, but the Masha can split into two parts, meaning you can easily clean take the dirty side off, and wash it.
After testing it out for myself, I can see that the Masha easily earns its place in the kitchen, it works perfectly and is easy to clean, it’s not a big item, but isn’t the smallest either, for me it is easy to store away in a cupboard, so I don’t see size being a let down on this, the only slight downside is the storage of the extra blade, unless you keep it in the box, you’ll just have a blade hiding somewhere in a cupboard or draw, the Masha is designed so perfectly that adding a hook or simular on to store the extra blade would have been a negative on the design side of things.
So overall I would say that the Masha effortly takes home a 10/10 for use, a 9/10 for cleaning and a 9.5/10 for design. Would I recommend it to a friend? Yes. Is it good value for money? Yes, for the price, the 5-year guarantee and the quality of the item, I’d say it’s worth every penny.
