Summer is in full swing, and Ueshima Coffee Company, Japan’s No.1 coffee, is bringing the heat—or rather, the chill—to Southbank!
For one day only, the iconic cherry blossom adorned Ueshima Coffee truck is hitting the road, making a special stop to cool you down with FREE iced coffees.
To celebrate the launch of their new ready-to-drink canned Iced Latte and Iced Matcha Latte, Ueshima will be giving freebies to the first 1,000 lucky visitors to Observation Point at Southbank on Thursday, August 15th, from 11am, perfect for beating the summer heat.
Crafted the Japanese way for incredible flavour, Ueshima’s innovation and craftsmanship remains at the forefront of each can. Both the Iced Latte and Iced Matcha Latte have less than 90 calories per can, are a low in sugar, and have been made with premium quality ingredients by the experts, or should we say, the Guinness World Record holders for bringing the world’s first coffee in a can to the market.
It’s also a case of joint celebrations, as in honour of International Calligraphy Day, Kashuu, the renowned Japanese calligrapher behind the stunning ‘Shodo’ Japanese calligraphy inspired designs on Ueshima’s standout packaging, will be creating free bespoke items for visitors from 12-3pm, offering a unique cultural experience and a memorable keepsake. While Kashuu completes your personalised gift, you can enjoy your drinks surrounded by cherry blossoms and Southbank’s beautiful views.
As the sun shines on Southbank’s bustling riverside, Ueshima Coffee will be handing out more than just free iced coffees. The team will also be serving a range of hot coffees, showcasing their range of unique Japanese blends enthusiasts, and for those who are looking for a Thursday afternoon tipple, the Ueshima Espresso Martini will satisfy your cravings.
