As a company, we take our place in the community seriously. CEO Christopher Walkey is on the board along with other local businesses within the community to support NSPCC awareness within the region of Colchester, Katie Skingle from local PR Agency KatCreativ is Chairwoman of the Colchester Group.

Colchester’s NSPCC Business Group is now in it’s sixth year and was first formed in May 2008 to bring local businesses together to raise money for local children.

The group is run by a committee of people from 10 local businesses, of a variety of sectors. We work together, meeting once a month, to raise money which goes direct to that group’s branch of the NSPCC for local projects.

Colchester’s annual successful fundraising event, The Emerald Ball, attracts more than 200 guests every year, entertaining them with casino tables, stilt walkers and an auction, as well as dinner and dancing.  Each year it beats its previous fundraising target.

Now, it’s one of Colchester’s biggest social events.  This year’s Ball is to be held at firstsite, Colchester, on Saturday November 16th 2013.  Tickets on sale from 1st September.
